The Last of Us

A journey begins.

I ended my journey on May 10th. It was a beautiful, emotional and terrifying game. As for the game vs tv show debate - they were both amazingly done for different reasons. Best Ellie? Absolutely can be found in the first game.

Gonna be honest, I thought I would have a harder time with this. Granted, I played on normal setting - but I wasn't demoted to cat-ear level. Super awesome!

Alas, just doing the main story so have not played with anyone. HOWEVER, I have returned to play this game in exchange for my good friend watching & surviving the HBO show! He made it to the end of season 1 and so I shall make it to the end of the game 😂.

1st impressions: Intense, gritty, beautiful, pretty, emotional, icky, hard af.

The detail is amazing - from the thunderstorm and towering skyscrapers to the dark murky underground.

I met Bill after we walked through part of his town - which had some very cool locations to discover!

Pittsburgh. Many battles and interesting locations! Also where we run in to Sam and Henry and traverse through the sewers.

Tuesday, April 25th

We say goodbye to Sam and Henry in the suburbs and make our way to Tommy's Dam for a reunion. It was an emotional 2 hours.

We made it through the University and Ellie dispatched David at the Lakeside Resort. Didn't these people know how to fish? They were on a damn lake! Talk about poor life choices.

The last three chapters went by so quickly yet they were packed with epic moments. I'm happy to have revisited this game and played it through to the end.
